Ansbach, 2025-07-07, garden near old deciduous forest in Frankenhoehe Nature Park
on a stone in an insect font.

Is it Hydrellia griseola?
EDIT: Hydrellia albiceps!

Thanks Eric

Certainly Hydrellia, but looks more like albiceps than griseola (based on notopleural colour which is usually brown in albiceps and light grey in griseola; and assuming it is one of these two very common species).

Thank you very much, Tony!
I have a video of that Hydrellia, too, and in all angles the notopleuron is dark - contrasting to the pale postpronotum.
