Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Eriothrix argyreatus ?

Hi,
Tachinidae observed on june 29th near the town of Sens (Burgondy, France). From the bristles of the scutum the Eriothrix genus seems possible. E. argyreatus should be a good option from abdominal yellow of the lateral part and the color or the legs. Thanks for your reply about the good identification of this fly.

I dont think so, vertex is too broad. Check for Bithia spreta.

Thanks Theo for your suggestion. However, it seems to me that all legs of Bithia spreta are black. Here, the femurs are yellow !

The same can be said of Eriothrix. So dit is a Solieria, either pacifica or vacua. Show the tarsus and we can say more
