Hello, I found this Micropezidae measuring around 10 mm in the forest. It was identified as Rainieria latifrons on Inaturalist and one of the gallery hosts on insects.org thinks the same thing. Can you give me your opinion?

Rainieria latifrons seems to be correct!
Base of femora yellowis red - R. calceata dark brown.

Yes, R. latifrons is correct. In last years, the species seems to be spreading towards west... If you wish to publish it as the first record from France, I can help you.

Dear Numayta & Libor,

Currently I'm writing a paper on Rainieria calceata in the Netherlands and would like to cite your upcoming paper. Would you like to get into contact by sending a pm?

Kind regards,
Elias
