Northern Germany, Schleswig-Holstein, Pinneberg-Waldenau near Hamburg, between a housing estate and an edge in the mixed forest Klövensteen, nearby a little pond for fishing, at the wooden railing of a footbridge (beneath birchtrees, pinetrees and oaks), length of the fly: 5.2 mm; 2nd of May 2025; photos: kuv.
To me the fly looks similar to Heleomyzidae but I couldn't find such a picture in the Diptera.info Gallery. - Please help for ID.
