Hi flyforum,
I found this fly yesterday on my roomwindow.
It is som 8-9mm in size and got some wing-calliphoridae-characteristics.
The colour of the abdomen(back) are a bit blue-ish/green.
Calliphora vomitoria ?
I don't see any red beard?, anterior spiracle is orange/braun..
Any suggestions? :)

You don't see any red beard, so why do you think it might be vomitoria ?
It's clearly vicina:
* no red beard
* gena reddish
* basicosta yellowish
* anterior spiracle yellowish.
By far the most common species in The Netherlands.
Vomitoria is actually quite rare.

Yes, no need to hesitate.
The size was a bit small but the rest of the characteristics are there.
Thank you for the nice survey
