Hi,

I would like you opinion about this huge Tachinidae I met in south Bulgaria few years ago, in a really dry area (maybe you have heard about Melnik's Pyramids, really nice place!)
I thought I would easily find out what this is, with such a specific habitus. But I stil don't have any clue.
Any ideas?

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
