How do you separate L. schranki from L.arnoudi on this photo?

does L. arnoudi occur in Gernany? I was only aware of schranki here.
Best regards,

I don't know about the distribution. I live in the Netherlands and we can only record L schranki after genital examination. L. arnoudi seems to be the twin species.

Some flies preserved in ethanol and then pinned often get the eyes sunken, how can this be avoided? Best answer: I usually keep alcohol-collected material in alcohol

Yes, dipterologists from far abroad, please buy your copy at veldshop. Stamps will be expensive, but he, the book is unreasonably cheap Smile
