When I look clooser in the link to earlier discussions Ithis one seems to be P. albimana (with no orange markings on abdomen). There are macrotrichia on upper half of first basal cell and there are large yelow parts on first tarsal segment of hindleg. Regards Krister |

I am not happy with P. albimana (see http://www.nature...a-albimana). The white hind feet should be eyecatching and distinctly lighter than the tibiae in this species. Also the wing markings are very faint. Leg colour would match P. minuta (http://www.natura...ta%201.JPG), however, the presence of plentiful macrotrichia does not confirm that species. Your fly seems to be quite intermediate... I use the key http://nora.nerc....eflies.pdf, but it is based on the same characters you checked. I would really like to hear further opinions! |

Ok, thanks! I will check it upp clooser and also like other opinions! First I thought it was minuta or scutellaris - and third antennal segment is long as scutellaris, but I thought those two species should have complete black first tarsal segment on hind tibia.... Krister |
