Hi,
I have problems with the key (Krivosheina, 1998) with this Notiphila (?) specimen. It has mid tibiae with 3 dorsal setae, yellow antennae, face with several strong setae, all tibiae yellow and abdominal tergites with 4 dark spots. The key leads to Notiphila flava Dahl, 1973 and the problem is, that the species should live in Afghanistan. The key does not match 100% because the face has many this hairs AND several strong setae. If it's not Notiphila at all, what might it be ?

From what I can see in the pictures and then running it through the Martin Drake's key (if it is
Notiphila, I end up with the group around
riparia, most notably
umbrosa (Britain and Germany). For what it is worth...

It has mid tibiae with 3 dorsal setae, yellow antennae, face with several strong setae, all tibiae yellow and abdominal tergites with 4 dark spots. If you look at it - hind tibia has dark narrow band. And then it goes well to riparia:)
