Hello,

I found this fly the 18.VIII.2016 - Peglio - Como - ITALY, I have ID it as Pollenia amentaria ♀, Stèphane Lebrun confirmed it as a possible Pollenia leclercqiana (he was right), I asked to Knut Rognes and he confirmed it:


Nice photograph! It is Pollenia leclercqiana Lehrer. It has a petiolate cell R4+5. This is the first record from Italy.

I am definitely not into Poleenia, but this one is clearly special.
