Shot today, 6 hours before in India - Chennai.

ID Required for the larger fly.

The larger fly is devouring a dolichopodiae which looked very fresh.. not sure if it is a kill.
The larger fly kept its middle leg on the head of LL fly which eventually got detached and rolled away.

Can someone please clarify if this is a predator, the family and if possible the Genus?

Thanks.

Edit: Many thanks to John Carr for the ID
