This Lonchoptera was found in a meadow east of Gothenburg. Is L. lutea correct?

lutea is correct.

Lonchoptera used to be difficult but I painstakingly identified every specimen I collected (usually a lot!) But now I can ID most on sight(+magnification).

being diligent like this means i don't miss the odd nitidifrons ! close to lutea but i now have 3 specimens having looked carefully through 1000s of Lonchoptera

that said, I have a suspicion lutea is more that one species. but would need some work to prove/disprove.
