Hi,
Yesterday I found an interesting but dead gnat on the kitchen window sill. The location is southwestern Germany not far away from Stuttgart.
With the help of http://www.online...ilidae.pdf I got to "R4 ending in R1. Laterotergite hairy" and thus to Keroplatus. In Germany we should have K. testaceus and K. reaumurii, but I found only pictures of the former. They matched my fly quite well, but please confirm or correct my ID - thanks in advance!
Regards, Sundew
