Hi,
Today I came across several tiny black flies belonging to Platypezidae on shrub leaves in a shadowy place. The location is southwestern Germany not far away from Stuttgart.
All were males and proved to belong to at least 2 species (and genera). I have no family key and hope for your help. The third one allowed for only one picture, but this points to Agathomyia cf. antennata. Do you agree?
Regards, Sundew

There are many species of Agathomyia with similarly black males, which can only be distinguished by characters of the setae on the legs, which are hardly visible here.

However, the genus seems to be ok, that is satisfying. Many thanks, Menno!
