Dear ALL,

I was enough lucky to accidently collect this remarkable fly specimen on 15th August, 2016. The collecting took place on the Sodenberg volcanic crater, Bavaria, Germany. It was the second warmer day in the year and I photographed a crab spider while the specimen tried to land on me. I recognised it and I swat it on myself! :D Can you please confirm my identification? Can you tell the sex? Do you need any furter information?
Thanks,
Patrik

Correct

Sanguinea is the female of trigramma, to put it paradoxically.
Nice find !
