In a fountain sorrounded by a rainy forest (Eucalyptus globulus, Castanea sativa, etc.).

Violet spot on mesonotum, strong posterior bristle on mid femur apically and convex M vein are characteristic of
Poecilobothrus. Outside Europe, the two genera are poorly distiguishable.

Dear Jfdocampo,
The only way to stop guessing and arrive at a valid and certain ID, I am afraid, is to collect some of the specimens and send them over to a specialist.
