An Hybomitra from Northern France (03/06/16).

According to the large orange spots on the abdomen and the first antennal segment, I think it is Hybomitra distinguenda.

Am I right?

Thank you

The proper argument would be the totally yellow hairs on oange abdominal spots.

Thanks to both of you.

I was more focusing on the dark first and second antennal segments in fact, the argument of the yellow or black hairs is a bit hard to visualize without a specimen to compare. Still, i don't see any black hairs on my specimen, except to the center, so it seems ok for H. distinguenda.

All species except ciureai have first antennal segments dark, so nothing special there.
The colouration of haira you describe confirms distinguenda female.
