Hello everyone,
For my first post on
diptera.info, I propose a Tabanidae found in Northern France (28/05/2016), in an arborescent swamp (Alnus glutinosa, Salix, ...).
I tried different keys.
The French one seems too old.
The Hungarian one brings me to Tabanus tropicus bisignatus = Hybomitra bimaculata bisignata
The English one is... wierd. The key suppose that the specimen is partly orange, to say later that it can have no trace of this color, it's a bit confusing.
So, my last word will be Hybomitra bimaculata bisignata.
I'll attach better pics if I can.
