Hi all,
we found this tiny ~1cm fly in lower saxony Germany (52°north) just sitting at daylight in April this year.
So far we couldn´t identify the insect.
Thankful for any help.

Empis tessellata (Empididae) (with, apparently, quite light coloured femora)
