Hello!

I was just trying to identify a 4-5 mm fly from two days ago at a rubus hedge (Ostwestfalen/Germany), when I read this thread:
http://www.dipter...ad_id=7467.

I my fly also an Orthonevra?

Yes it is Orthonevra, but another species.
Black legs, dark stigma, ant. 3d' shape, all these characters speak for Orthonevra nobilis female.

Regards.

Thanks a lot! According to the checklist O. nobilis should of course be the most abundant species here.
