Hi, is it possible to identify this species with this picture? Could be Asilidae?

It is Asilidae. Of the North American genera, it reminds me of
Mallophora and
Megaphorus (Asilinae with short abdomens). Hopefully Eric Fisher will comment. He is the expert on New World Asilidae.
