Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Rhinophoridae; Phyto?=> Nyctia halterata (Sarcophagidae)

Happy new year everyone, :)

I would need another opinion on this specimen found in north France in june. I think it belong to Phyto genus, what do you think? (I have the specimen, if you have specific questions)

We have been here before: it is Nyctia halterat (Sarcophagidae) !
Rhinophoridae never have an appendix to bend of vein M

Not that easy those little black flies, but i shall remember this characteristic.
