from a stream freshwater sample collected and preserved
A strange pupa a little bit disymetrical in the posterior part, spindle shaped, the anterior tip very sharp
3 mm length litgh dark pattern on the skin

A larva inside correctly preserved after 5 years in formaline/ethanol extracted without difficulties

little head with short antennae and 2 spiracles on each side of the head














a strange button at the end of a fresher pupa last segment



spicules on the skin of the pupa




a unique pore on the top of the anterior part of the pupa










last abdominal segment


spiracles on each side of the head
