Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Anthomyia procellaris or A. imbrida? --> Anthomyia sp.

Denmark (South), Als, near Nordborg, coastal area, at the edge of a renaturated lake, at a leaf of blackberry bush, Outsidefotos: kuv, 9th of July 2014. More ID possible (I've no better pic of the 5th tergit -see Thread http://www.diptera.info/forum/viewthread.php?forum_id=5&thread_id=62830)? Please help.

With those black and white Anthomyia species there is mostly one option for a proper ID.......looking at the genitalia.
For an idea how difficult the differents could be you can look at this page (http://www.anthom...omyia.html) where you can see the small differents in A.procellaris and A. quinquemaculata.....mainly the pre-and postgoniten are different in shape.
The same for A.imbrida :)
