Can anyone suggest a family for this fly? Light trap, Townsville, Queensland.

It is Trypetomima completa Cresson. Rather common species in Australia.

Thanks Tadek. Interesting that it is common. It's the first one I've seen.

Trypetomima completa is not listed on ALA.

I was too fast with specific identification. For sure it is Trypetomima, but it could be a new species. From museum material I know the genus is widespread (perhaps better word than common) in Australia, despite it is not listed on ALA.
