Dear Forum,

Fly caught 1 oct. from dry sandy area at water edge Central Netherlands.

In the Netherlands only Ochthera mantis is listed but others may be around I have no key to check
Any help with ID appreciated,

Kind regards,
Jan Wind

And another manicata. While I'm fairly sure these are not mantis, I have never seen palearctica, which might just turn up in the Netherlands, so it's worth checking the genitalia. I can send Clausen's figures if that would help, or I'm happy to look at any specimens for checking.

Tony thank you for checking all three Ochthera threads. I would be happy to receive more information and have a more definite check on the ID

Kind regards,
