Photograph taken 4 September, 2015 in the wetlands of the Suárez Pond, Motril, Granada, Spain.
Immediate area of the Mediterranean coast.
Apparent size with wings, about 7-8 mm

Probably Anthomyia pluvialis. Michael Ackland has mentioned a similar species tempestatum that ranges at least as far north as Morocco. There is also imbrida which normally has larger black spots.
