I am new on this forum, and would be pleased to have some help regarding this Chironomidae.

Could you confirm the family, genius, and specy ?

It is similar to the Chironomus circumdatus in the gallery, but that is a Pacific species. I don't know what species you have. Many Chironomus have similar color pattern. ID is mostly based on details of male genitalia.
