Finally a Tabanidae seen in Austria. Same green unbanded eyes but this one seems to have a different form of antenna.
Maybe Tabanus bovinus?
Location: surroundings of Kufstein, Austria. Alt. approx. 900m

a male Philipomyia aprica.
Common in the (southern) Alps and much found on flowers (females as well!)
