Hello

Determined according to the key patterns and Jens-Hermann Stuke.
Can you confirm?

I doubt with P. abdominalis. Difficult to estimate the height of the sternite 5 without a comparison.

This is quite possibly Sicus abdominalis.

Hi christoophe,

Where and when did you catch this Sicus?

I have seen the only dutch specimen of S. fusenensis, identified by Jens-Hermann Stuke. The theca of that species is more pointed then the one shown here.
I have a Finnish specimen, like the one shown here, which I would name Sicus abdominalis.
The definite key to European Sicus species can be found in: Stuke 2002, A new species of Sicus from central Europe. If you want it, send me a pm.

Greetings,

Ectemnius
