A fly from SW Sweden yesterday. It was flying around over som nests of the wasp Lindenius albilabris, and I suppose it is a parasit on this wasp. Thankful for help with ID.

If it is investigating wasp burrows, it should be Sarcophagidae, Miltogramminae.

Many thanks for help to both of you! Does anybody know if the species of Metopia are host-specific or if several species are connected to the same host?

Well, since females Metopia cannot be distinguished, that is a very difficult question.
My gut feeling is that the host specificy in Metopiinae is at least partly an artefact of the fact of reliable records.
As long as this artefact is not removed, I am not convinced Metopiinae are strict in host choice.
