Hello all,
Would anyone be able to help me with the identification of this tabanid from southern Italy (Calabria)? The photo was taken with a smartphone and unfortunately is not of very good quality.

If it is from Italy, it can only be the male of Tabanus paradoxus.
A big species (20 mm. +)
