by a tiny lake in forest near copenhagen july12th.
Noticed a very delicate row of black hairs (I think) ventral on front tibia (if it matters)

Has it a chance?
Thanks in advance, Ole

Empidoidea with raptorial fore leg and very long fore coxa = Hemerodromiinae. I think this is the female Phyllodromia melanocephala.

Platypalpus has mid leg enlarged.

Correct. I collected it myself in southern Denmark earlier this year.

Hi John and Paul
Thank you very much for ID and confirmation!
I am embarrassed for platypalpus...

Best wishes!
Ole

No need to be embarrassed. Search the forum and you'll see you're not the only one.
