small fly <2mm found yesterday 30 June on terras of apartment Is this Leptometopa niveipennis or latipes?
Any help appreciated

L. niveipennis should have whitsh wings, so probably
latipes. I will dig into this, with another
Leptometopa on its way to my mailbox.

Thank you Paul. 'Whitis'h is a relative thing. The wings are very 'clear' Not 'whitish' probably.

Annulated legs, should be
latipes.
