2015-06-06, Degeberga, south of Sweden, in the house.

Last year I struggled with a very similar female (http://www.dipter...d_id=61244) maybe the same species ?

Maybe a Pegomya caesia ???

Looking for "boomerangs" (http://www.photom...hp?t=26265) but maybe not possible to see with my camera ...

The swollen palps, part black, and the strong cruciate interfrontal setae tell me it is probably Pegomya caesia. Great photos!

Thanks Michael !

I had trouble with the size of lower calypter and the ratio length/width of the postpedicel.
