These pictures were taken by a friend on 26 May 2015 near Croydon in southern England. Using John Smit's key in De Nederlandse boorvliegen I have arrived at Orellia falcata. As the species is new to me and the pictures are not perfectly clear I would be grateful for confirmation or correction from somebody with a more experienced eye than mine.
