Is this Lonchaeidae? Malaise trap, Townsville, Queensland.

The pale halteres suggest that it's not a lonchaeid. Have you got a more lateral view - especially the face?

Well, I think it's a toss up between Ephydridae and Milichiidae. Tadeusz may recognize it.

It is not Ephydridae, rather Milichiidae.
