Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Diptera sp.6

On the 25th May I found several Diptera in a wet marshland, overgrown with Alder trees (Lettelberter Petten, NL). Any help with identification will be appreciated.

Scathophaga sp. (Scathophagidae).

Thanks, Stephanie, I recognised it as probably Scathophaga but such markings on the abdomen I have never seen.
