Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Tachinid for ID

I cannot get this fly through the Tachinid key, making me wonder whether it is even a Tachinid! Presumably the extra r-m cross vein is just an aberration on this individual? From woodland edge in NE England this week.

Wing...vein R1 has two bristles above on one wing, one on the other

The extra crossvein is an odd aberration. Otherwise, it is Pelatachina tibialis!
