With the male do you have more photos of tibia1 and tibia 3-

Tibia 1 to ensure that there are no p setae
Tibia 3 to see more clearly the number of ad and av setae

Thx

OK

I can't see a p seta on tibia 1 so I will assume that there isn't 1

Are you able to translate German, I have some information from Hennig 64 which I would like to translate also? the absence of a p seta on tibia 1 makes it interesting!

...I think I might be able to translate german...born and raised there :) ..

But on the other hand: I've seen your shout box conversation with Stephane...all the scientific talk: I've really got to learn the vocabulary :) but thats what we are here for, so shoot....

OK

Here is as far as I got

For British species
Assuming Helina
no spots on abdomen, wings clear, no p seta on tibia 1, pre ac absent, eyes not long haired, 4 post dc, narrow fronto-orbital plates usually separated by a black line - further info need - femur 3 with pv setae in the apical 1/3rd? also posterior cross-vein is verschieden stark geschwungen, wenig schrägstehend (can anyone help out here)- pubiseta

also need to check Mydaea
need to see pv setae on f3 + = deserta, - = orthonevra, urbana, separate by ad, av on tibia 3

I can't see any pv on femur 3, you may have some more angles thfore = Mydaea orthonevra or urbana, tibia 3 with 2av, 2ad = urbana

urbana - Abdomen à pruinosité d'un gris jaunâtre avec une ligne médiane dorsale - abdomen dusted grey-yellow with a dorsal median line

Hello Elisabeth,
thanks for your devotion...

the translation could be something like this:
"posterior cross-vein is verschieden stark geschwungen, wenig schrägstehend "

'posterior cross-vein is oscillating differently strong, only little inclined...'

...and I really do not have any different angles on pictures...

maybe Stephane or Nikita can say something about it?
