Thread subject: Diptera.info :: 3mm shiny black fly with coloured eyes -> Lauxania cf. minor

Hi,
today in my garden: this small, 3mm bodylenght, shiny black fly with coloured eyes and "long" antennas.

Stuttgart, southwest Germany, garden. I have no idea...

Lauxania. I don't know how to distinguish species.

Looks like Lauxania minor to me.

In Germany there are two species of genus Lauxania: cylindricornis and minor.

It seems, that the antenna from L. cylindricornis are a little bit longer. So I Thing it is L. minor.
