I can see now that the fly is either T. bovinus or T. sudeticus I am leaning towards sudeticus because I don't recall seeing any reddish/reddish brown colour on the tergites and the bands appear to be black to dark brown. However, I can't be certain and so, for now, I'll treat it as T. sudeticus/bovinus. Many thanks again, for your help
