This at first rather dull looking fly has I think a very impressive set of mouthparts etc. It was caught and photographed by me, swept from low vegetation, beside Koproulu reservoir, Cyprus on 23 March. Any suggestions regarding it's identification would be very greatly appreciated. I do have the specimen.
