I have found very small fly (1 mm) a few minuties ago...I have been surprised by its big eyes. Cloud you help me with ID.

Hybotidae. Most likely a Tachydromia sp.

S..t, you are right, Gerard. It is for sure Stilpon. Normally at home I would have looked in my library, which is impossible here in my office.

Ruud, okay...can I put the specimen to alcohol? Is it acceptable for you, or do you prefere dry specimen on the label?

The species is
Stilpon graminum. I have been picking them from a Dutch Malaise trap sample today. :)
