Thread subject: Diptera.info :: A Tephritid species from Madeira

I recently returned from a very enjoyable week in Madeira though we saw few distinctive flies! This one though I think might be the Tephritid species Procecidochares utilis. It was caught between Quebradas & Ponta Delgada, on the north coast. I would be very grateful if someone more experienced could confirm or correct this identification. If I am correct I note that the species does not yet feature in the Diptera info 'Gallery' so can post the images into there.

Many thanks
