is it Syrphus ribesii, or some other species?
Location: Germany, Rhineland-Palatinum, 53572 Unkel, river Rhine valley, dry and warm habitat (grapeyards), 27. 07. 2014.

Hello Michael,
I am not sure, whether the hind femur is dark in this female. Then it is not
ribesii.
