Both from 2014-06-07 are Notiphila, the most common of the few genera of Ephydridae with costa ending at R4+5.

It is female. Almost all diagnostic characters are lost on this photo, but if basal coloration of fore tibiae is really black. it is more likely Notiphila venusta (than Notiphila maculata).:)

Thanks! Sorry, I donĀ“t have a key of Ephydridae here. Searching for this species I found http://www.dipter...d_id=62573. Well, 4 setae on midtibia are present too. Greetings, Ingo
