Well, it is clear migratory locusts are not around.
The story has been, that the specimens migrate on a yearly basis. However, to me it is clear that this is old knowledge. I have little doubt that the species is indigenous in NL for more than ten years.
The obvious explanation is that Stomorhina is in all Acrididae-eggs, and has only been found in migratory locust, since that species is so exceptionally well studied.
