Thread subject: Diptera.info :: Second opinion about Suillia, Suffolk, Aug=> S affinis

I think this is Suillia affinis. I posted the photos on the UK Dipterists Forum and this ID was more or less agreed. However, I would like a definite ID before recording this species, as it was not been previously recorded in East Suffolk (as far as I know). If not S affinis, what could it be?

Finally got a half decent photo of the supracervical setulae of this specimen. They look a transparent yellow colour to me. Does this confirm the species as S. Affinis?
