Found in area with mediterranean vegetation, near urban area in Madrid and no cattle around on 03.06.2014. I think it might be Tabanus nemoralis but it is a wild guess on my part ;) Can it be confirmed? Sorry, I have no more pictures :( My friend, who was being bitten, has a few more if they are necessary.
